Do something special
Planning for the future is a deeply personal journey, and we're here to support you every step of the way.
If you're considering including a gift in your Will, we gently encourage you to speak with an independent solicitor or professional Will writer to ensure your wishes are clearly and securely expressed.
If you've already made a Will, adding a charitable gift can be a straightforward process using a codicil. Your advisor will be able to guide you through this with care and clarity.
To help your advisor, you may wish to use the following suggested wording:
“I leave the sum of ……… to The Merton and Morden Guild of Social Service, 34a Abeconway Road, Morden, SM4 5LF (registered charity number 206143), to be used for its general charitable purposes. I request that the receipt from an authorised officer of the charity shall serve as full acknowledgement of this gift.”
There’s absolutely no obligation to let us know about your decision, but if you do choose to share it, please rest assured that your intentions will be held in the strictest confidence.
